A total of 27 participants took part in the Training on Soybean Production Technology conducted by the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) through the University Extension Program Office–Technology Promotion Division on November 24, 2025, at the Audio-Visual Room of the Municipal Hall in Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija.
The participants included RIC farmer-members led by Ms. Virginia B. Smith, Federated President of RIC; a TVDP farmer-partner from Myriad Farms represented by Mr. Romer P. Nuno; senior high school students from Julia Ortiz National High School; and Agricultural Extension Workers of Sto. Domingo headed by Ms. Emerita R. Flores, Municipal Agriculturist.
The training aimed to enhance participants’ knowledge and equip them with practical techniques in soybean production and management based on CLSU’s recommended technology protocol. Mr. Nestor D. Pagaduan, Farm Superintendent from the Crops and Resources Research and Development Center (CRRDC), served as the resource speaker. The TVDP team, along with Major Practice students from the College of Agriculture, assisted in facilitating the activity.
This activity formed part of the Techno Village Development Program (TVDP) and was conducted in collaboration with the Local Government Unit–Municipal Agriculture Office of Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija, and the Crops and Resources Research and Development Center (CRRDC).
