Around 250 farmers, women, elders, stakeholders, and local officials attended the Agri-Tekno Roadshow organized by Central Luzon State University (CLSU) through its University Extension Program Office (UEPO) on November 24, 2025.
The Roadshow highlighted innovative technologies aimed at boosting productivity and improving livelihoods in rural communities.
Dr. Flor Amor B. Monta, Municipal Administrator representing Talugtug Mayor Hon. Pacifico B. Monta, encouraged participants to adopt the technologies to enhance their livelihood outcomes.
Participants learned about CLSU-developed technologies such as Special Purpose Rice, Goat Production, and ItikPINAS duck raising. Presenters included Mr. Elmer P. Natividad, Jr., Special Purpose Rice Focal Person; Mr. Melchor P. Pascua, Goat Production Technical Expert; and Mr. Ace Bryan S. Tiburcio, Project Leader of the Techno Village Development Program β ItikPINAS.
Farmers expressed strong interest and willingness to implement the technologies, recognizing their potential to increase productivity and household income.
The event was organized in partnership with the Municipal Agriculture Office, led by Engr. Dennis P. de Gracia, Municipal Agriculturist, and Dr. Zenaida C. Cabute, Agriculturist II.
